About the event

Sherry is a certified coach and trained intuitive eating counselor. She left an accomplished  and successful 25 year career as an IT professional and corporate executive to start her own health coaching business. Her passion is helping women in midlife end chronic dieting by taking a non-diet approach to health. 

 

When did eating, one of the most basic and fundamental human needs get so complicated? It doesn’t have to be. Join Sherry as she discusses how diet culture, fad diets and misinformation from unqualified, self-proclaimed experts and influencers muddy the waters of what constitutes a healthy diet. Add in food rules, negative self-talk and distorted body image and you have a trifecta of factors that contribute to a loss of trust in our own inner knowing of what is right for us to satisfy our needs. With Gentle Nutrition we move away from classifying foods as “good” and “bad”…
