Remembering to celebrate our success, being curious about the world, and suspending self-judgement are all part of self-compassion. They are key to being resilient and maintaining a positive outlook in such stressful times. Self-compassion is not the same as self-pity or self-indulgence! It is taking time to acknowledge the pain of failure, nurturing ourselves through that pain, and then objectively reviewing our actions so that we can learn from them.
